They could have very well cause it in the first place and are trying to place blame elsewhere to take the attention off of themselves. I thought that there was some controversy over whether or not we are in the Third wave or if this is still the Second wave. I think that if feminism is to survive they need some clear cut goals and some real organization. With so many feminists around and so many brands of feminism they are all like little cells with no 1 leader to unite all the clans. Otherwise, like you said, there is disagreement amongst themselves. I think that is their weakness and that is what 'Fourth wave' feminism would have to correct.
