It might be convenient for the left on one hand, but also consider the left controls the government right now and the last thing Obama needs is several billion dollars worth in economic damage in the gulf at a time when he’s passing expensive (and unaffordable) reforms.
This accident really doesn’t serve as a means to push cap and trade. Cap and trade wouldn’t stop or mitigate the accident.
