That's normal.
The oil warning light usually indicates a lack of oil pressure, and when the engine isn't running yet there naturally shouldn't be any.

allow more use of oil? Do you need oil to get money, or does having more money let you burn more oil?

Surely economic growth of 3% with oil use growth of 1.5% suggests that, even if the oil use enables economic growth, over time less and less growth is due to oil, and more to other things? Oil and growth are becoming decoupled?]]>

Just curious, what do you mean “EXACT same spot on a DIFFERENT RIG”.
Was there another rig at site when the DWH blew up? What was the name of that rig? How far away was that rig? Does your friend know the name/location of the well where it blew?

convert miles to feet:

1 mile is 5280 feet

2 miles = 10560 feet

tan (theta) = 250/10560

theta = .023669821 radians

that is the angle of elevation. The angle of elevation is equal to the angle of depression.

10*tan(55) – 10*tan(28) = 8.964385751 km

I've written 2 choices of formulas, one that uses every "X" or one that uses every non-blank cell. Just copy your choice down Column I along the Xs.
Both formulas basically work the same, the 2nd has a potential problem (the user may type a space in a field instead of leaving it blank). I prefer the 1st formula with Data Validation set on the cells that only allow someone to type an "X" in the cell.

If you are looking for a oilfield job, look into a job site that provides it’s services directly to oilfield or start applying directly to drilling companies. You could also look into service companies if you would like to be in oilfield services. Just to name a few employers:
