The same way politicians have been "standing up" to them for years… he'll call a congressional hearing that can't possibly accomplish anything. Then he'll raise taxes on oil companies, which you and I will pay for at the pump.
Afterwards, he'll go home to his mansion and laugh his arse off at the stupidity of the American public.

Let me guess- this was a government college or community college where those people there are not trained as in higher education colleges. This woman thought you were stupid or may have thought your questions were too much or you may be speaking too quickly. People on the phone when they get nervous speak very quickly. Having said that, she should have been more encouraging and had enough skills to deal with you. It takes all kinds to make a world and successful communication is being able to communicate with all kinds of people.
