I used to make them years ago plus badges too. All you need is to go to an Art supply shop and buy some Fimo modelling clay and some magnets. The clay is baked in the oven to harden. You need to be able to model the things you want but it doesn't take an expert to do it. You can buy instruction books which will show you what to do. Have fun.
